The Opportunity Scholarship Fund board is pleased to announce the election of Bartlesville resident, Charlie Daniels, as the new President of the OSF. Daniels, a former Bartlesville School Board member and retired Senior Counsel for ConocoPhillips, has been a staunch advocate for providing education opportunities to all Oklahoma students and is a founding board member of the OSF.
The board also announced the appointment of Tulsa businessman, Rob Sellers, as the organization’s Executive Director. Sellers replaces the founding Executive Director, Michael Lapolla, who remains with the group as a newly-elected board member. Mr. Sellers is a certified public accountant and has over twenty years of experience with private K-12 schools, most recently as the Chief Financial Officer of Metro Christian Academy for the last five years. He also has served in many capacities in financial and operational positions while holding board positions in many civic and charitable organizations throughout Oklahoma. Rob earned his Bachelor’s degree from Oral Roberts University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Oklahoma Society of CPAs.
