Summit Christian Academy, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, is the most recent accredited educational institution of the Opportunity Scholarship Fund. Established in 1987 as a direct ministry of The Assembly in Broken Arrow, the school began with 20 students and now have a student body of nearly 400, from kindergarten through 12th grade. Summit Christian Academy competes in the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association in academics, fine arts, and athletics. They have a growing emphasis on science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.
SCA’s mission is to teach students the necessary knowledge to build successful lives. By limiting the size of their classes, following a challenging curriculum that emphasizes science, technology, engineering, arts, and math, and hiring highly qualified, communicative teachers, SCA celebrates their students as they consistently score well on achievement tests – exceeding state and national averages. Summit Christian Academy produces successful graduates with biblical worldviews: a philosophy for living that filters life’s challenges through a biblical perspective. SCA’s high academic standards create lifelong learners so students may succeed in college and in the workplace.
We welcome Summit Christian Academy as OSF’s 51st member school and look forward to their continued success in educating Oklahoma’s children.
